Objectives

The ELC (Electoral Literacy Club ) aims to sensitize the student community about democratic rights, primarily through electoral literacy and participation. It provides experience-based learning through activities like mock polling, and fosters awareness through debates, essay writing, and similar programs related to electoral procedures.
The core objectives of the ELC are:

• Promoting Awareness: To raise awareness and interest among students and faculty through interactive workshops and events.
• Educating on Electoral Processes: To educate the community about voter registration, electoral procedures, and related matters through practical experiences.
• Familiarizing with Voting Technology: To familiarize individuals with voting machines and educate them on the security and integrity of the electoral process.
• Encouraging Ethical Voting: To help individuals understand the value of their vote and ensure they exercise their right ethically and confidently.
• Community Engagement: To utilize ELC members to extend electoral literacy within the broader community.
